Carin Leon, a leading artist in regional Mexican music, performs to a sold-out audience on Monday, July 22, at 7:30 p.m. in the Chumash Grandstand Arena.
Carín León, also known as Armando Díaz De León Huez, is a prominent figure in the regional Mexican music scene. His musical journey began with the band Los Reales, after which he founded Grupo Arranke, leading them to significant success. In 2018, Carín embarked on a solo career, swiftly gaining recognition with hits like “A través del Vaso.”
By the end of that year, he had released his debut album, Amanecida Con Todo Y Con Todos, on December 20. Following this, he dropped his second studio album, El Malo, on February 18, 2019, which quickly became his most acclaimed work.
On May 7, 2021, Carín unveiled his third studio album, Inédito, which Billboard hailed as “one of the best Latin albums of 2021.” Among his numerous accolades, the “Revelation Artist of the Year” award at the 2019 Premios La Radio stands out. Carín León’s exceptional talent has firmly established him as a leading artist in regional Mexican music, earning him international acclaim.
