CertainTeed Honors Mid State Roofing with Shingle Master Tenured Member Status

Mid State Roofing, of Paso Robles, California, was recently honored with CertainTeed Corporation’s Select Shingle Master Tenured Member Status.

“We are pleased to recognize Mid State Roofing as a Tenured Select Shingle Master,” says Jay Butch, director of contractor programs for CertainTeed Roofing. “For more than a decade, they have consistently complied with program standards, which in turn, provide them with business tools to assist their company operations, while offering a higher level of service to their customers.”

The program provides contractors with high-level training and tools to improve installation skills, and enhanced roofing product information. To attain CertainTeed Select Shingle Master Member status, contractors must meet stringent requirements. Select companies must have proof of current liability and worker’s compensation insurance. In addition, the company must ensure 50 percent of their shingle installation crew, plus all job supervisors, have passed the CertainTeed Master Shingle Application test and employ at least one person who passed the CertainTeed Shingle Quality Specialist test.
