Workshop will provide participants with tools they can use every day to feel calmer and more connected

    – Hypnosis and mindfulness instructor Art Kuhns, owner of Breaking Day Hypnotherapy, will host a workshop titled Mindfulness: Breathe & Pause: Reset for Women on Sept. 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Live Oak Room at Centennial Park, 600 Nickerson Drive.

The class is designed to support women experiencing midlife changes, caregiving roles, and the stresses of daily life. Kuhns said the workshop will provide participants with tools they can use every day to feel calmer and more connected.

“Life gets noisy, especially for women juggling so many responsibilities,” Kuhns said. “This class is about giving yourself permission to stop, breathe, and remember the power and peace that is already within you.”

According to organizers, the workshop will introduce mindfulness techniques to calm the nervous system, provide practical tools for hormonal and emotional balance, and encourage participants to reconnect with their inner strength.

The class is open to all women and has a registration fee of $35, which includes handouts. Discounts are available for additional family members and active or retired military members.

Advance registration is recommended. Registration is available online at prcity.com/recreationonline or in person at the Centennial Park registration desk Monday through Thursday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

For more information, contact Kuhns at (805) 242-1649 or Paso Robles Recreation Services at (805) 237-3988. The class is presented in partnership with Paso Robles Recreation Services.
