Miss California Mid-State Fair applications close Friday, April 17
– Young women in San Luis Obispo County have until Friday, April 17, to apply for the Miss California Mid-State Fair Scholarship Pageant.
Eligible applicants must have graduated from high school or the equivalent and meet all pageant requirements. Full eligibility details are available at misscmsf.com.
Contestants compete in interview, talent, evening wear, and a Fair proposal category, in which participants present a creative idea for the fair. Winners represent the California Mid-State Fair each day of the event and in the community throughout the year.
“This program is about far more than a crown,” said Courtney Lucas, pageant director. “It’s about confidence, mentorship, and creating opportunities for young women to grow and represent their community.”
The California Mid-State Fair runs July 15 through July 26 at the Paso Robles Event Center and celebrates its 80th anniversary with the theme “Back to the ’80s.” The fair features entertainment, exhibits, competitions, carnival rides, and family activities.
