Missing woman found safe

–Authorities in San Luis Obispo have successfully located a missing 69-year-old San Luis Obispo woman who was considered at-risk due to a medical condition.

On Oct. 18 at about 7:55 p.m., the San Luis Obispo Department received a tip that Karen McLain was possibly in the area of Higuera and South streets in San Luis Obispo. Officers responded to the area and located her unharmed. McLain was transported to her home and reunited with family.

McLain had been last seen by family members just before 12 p.m. Tuesday when she left her mother’s residence located in San Luis Obispo.
