    Mobile home blown over by high winds

    –A mobile home on the 1900 block of Hidden Acre Rd. in rural Paso Robles was flipped over by high winds Wednesday morning, at approximately 7:15 a.m., according to Cal Fire.

    The 57-year-old female resident of the home was able to escape through a broken window, according to the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Department Public Informations Officer Tony Cipolla. She managed to escape with only minor cuts and scrapes.

    Rural Paso Robles resident Sherri Goforth posted on her Facebook, ” I (sic) tornado just came through our property in Paso Robles California! This is a picture of the house on the property next to ours! It destroyed the neighbors house and split oak trees in half!! It tore out some of our arena panels and praise god it missed everything else on our property! All of us and our horses and dogs are safe and sound! The neighbor is on the way to the hospital and needs our prayers!

    Cal Fire is currently responding to the scene.

    Actually we don't get tornados here so that house was not designed to survive one. It was designed to survive earthquakes. This is the second tornado I've heard about in slo county over the last week. This is concerning. I wonder what more might be to come.
