Lake San Antonio will be welcoming mud, fun and mayhem this spring as the second annual MORE Wildflower mud & obstacle course gets underway on April 26.

Registration is now open, and organizers say it is a great way to get a group together and make good on those new years’ resolutions to spend more time outdoors and fit in some exercise while having a great time.

“Our course is set on the south shore of Lake Antonio. It’s a fantastic location to get a group of friends or coworkers together and make a weekend of it close to home. We have a group discount package that includes camping passes so that you can really unwind, relax and enjoy all that the park has to offer after the race,” says Race Director, Colleen Bousman. “Anyone over age eight can take part. We have a lot of families who group together and use the weekend as an excuse to have a mini getaway while spending quality time with friends and family.”

The course itself will have over twelve obstacles, so you get to experience some trails as well as things like ropes, walls and a whole lot of mud.

“MORE stands for mud, obstacles, run and entertainment so while you’re going to get dirty you’re also going to have fun doing it. We’re there to support you and make sure you enjoy yourself while getting across the finish line,” says Bousman.

The race isn’t the only thing that participants can look forward to over the weekend. Tri-California has put together a full weekend of fun including an outdoor movie night, food and entertainment.

MORE registrations is now open. For more information or to register, visit www.tricalifornia.com.
