Murder charges filed against man for stabbing mother in Grover Beach
–On Tuesday, the San Luis Obispo County District Attorney’s Office filed murder charges against Levente Laszlo Lazar, 26, for the stabbing murder of his mother, Athena Valentiny, 64, at her residence in Grover Beach on or about Oct. 24, 2018.
Following an interview conducted by Grover Beach Police and San Luis Obispo County District Attorney Investigators, Lazar was arrested in Indiana and booked in the Monroe County (Indiana) Correctional Center pending extradition to California.
