Must! Charities announces installation of new executive board

New board includes five veterans and four newcomers

– This week, Must! Charities announced its new 2022 executive board. The newly elected board welcomes back five veterans and introduces four new board members:

• Jenny Barton, Barton Family Wines (new)
• Mike Bickel, RPS Holdings (returning)
• Paloma Bilson, Dilecta Wines (new)
• Greg Gregory, Silicon Valley Bank (new)
• Kelli Law, Law Estate Wines (returning)
• Andy Niner, Niner Wine Estates (returning)
• Rob Osterbauer, Rabo AgriFinance (returning after hiatus)
• Stephen Silva, EB Wakeman (new)
• Justin Smith, Saxum (returning)

The board’s duty is to “guide long-term sustainable transformation in the region by collaborating with organizations who are already serving the greatest community needs.” Through Must’s vetting process, organizations are identified who “serve those needs and can demonstrate increased capacity if investments to infrastructure and into projects are made.”

Last year Must! Charities invested $905,000 in community projects and committed an additional $353,000. This strategy has guided growth, and the ambitions of this new executive board “know no bounds to future transformation,” says the nonprofit.

“We benefit from a legacy of innovators and forward-thinkers,” says Becky Gray, executive director of Must! Charities. “And we are poised to build upon that legacy with an executive board that has diverse backgrounds and expertise, yet all share an enthusiasm to move the need on social issues.”
