ALEXPAINT: Mystery art appears downtown
Posted: 9:30 pm, May 1, 2014 by Reporter Meagan Friberg
It’s a mystery with an artistic flair – this 11 foot tall cardboard expression wrapped around a telephone pole in the alley way of 13th St. in downtown Paso Robles. According to local residents, the art piece appeared sometime over the last week and was placed by an unknown person or group for all to enjoy.
There is one clue that may lead to the identity of the artist or artists. Duct-taped to a brick wall nearby is the word ALEXPAINT. The mystery of the artwork has many locals asking where it came from and whether there will be more art showing up throughout the city.
To see the art, stop by the alley behind Thomas Hill Organics and Earth Tones.
