New baseball field bleachers built by donors and volunteers
Paso Robles Youth Baseball volunteers raised enough money to purchase two new bleachers for Sherwood Park‘s Bynum Field and finished building them last week.
The group raised $8588 in donations from the community, said Paso Robles Youth Baseball Executive Board President Tom Seidel. The Paso Robles Rotary Club donated $4500 and will have a dedication plaque placed on one of the bleachers. The other set was paid with donations from Access Publishing, MGE Underground, Merrill & Associates, REC Foundation, Mitchella Vineyards, Powell Family, Jason and Jaime Glen, and other individuals who donated through Gofundme.com.
The community is invited to come check out the new bleachers on opening day, March 7. Opening ceremonies begin at 9 a.m. with the following games scheduled:
