New Cava Robles RV Resort set for May 2018 opening
–Construction is underway for the Cava Robles RV Resort located at 3800 Golden Hill Road along Huer Huero Creek. The resort, featuring a combination of cottages and RV spaces, is set to open in May 2018.
The development is the first ground-up development for Sun RV Resorts, and resort planners say they have created a property that meticulously preserves the natural beauty of the site. Nearby oak trees and hillsides are protected, retaining the small-town rural charm that draws visitors worldwide to the Central Coast.
“We want Cava guests to open their doors and experience the spectacular beauty that surrounds them,” said Lisa Harold, Regional Vice President. “We are setting a new standard for experience with the creation of Cava Robles.”
Final plans are nearing completion for an initial resort layout that includes more than 200 motor coach sites and 20 freestanding cottage-inspired vacation rentals. The resort will offer banquet facilities, an on-site restaurant and bar, concierge services shuttles to nearby wineries and events, two large swimming pools, a state-of-the art fitness center, and a large covered picnic and gathering spot for guests’ enjoyment. The five buildings on site will feature rustic, contemporary-style architecture and early California-style antique furniture that offers a nod to the state’s rich ranch history, while incorporating modern amenities that simplify life on the road. “Our guests will feel pampered,” Harold said. Advance reservations are opening in November.
