–On Feb. 6, the Paso Robles City Council interviewed seven applicants to fill three vacant positions on the Paso Robles Planning Commission.

The Paso Robles City Council has appointed two new members to the Paso Robles Planning Commission, Mark Koegler and Leo Castillo and re-appointed Sheree Davis for her second 3-year term.

Davis, a fifth-generation native of the Paso Robles region and Cal Poly professor, was re-appointed to the Planning Commission for a second term. Koegler and Castillo are new appointments to the Planning Commission and were selected based on their applications, interviews and their ability to represent a wide range of community views and interests. Koegler is a retired city planner and landscape architect from Minneapolis, Minnesota who recently moved to Paso Robles. Castillo is a Staff Sgt. in the US Army, with 19 years of service, and has spent much of his career at Camp Roberts, Camp San Luis and Vandenberg Air Force Base.

Shannon Agredano and Brice Garrett will be stepping down from the Planning Commission.

The new commissioner’s first Planning Commission meeting will be on March 12 where they will join existing Commissioners, Doug Barth, Sheree Davis, John Donaldson, Roberta Jorgensen and Joel Neel.
