New Templeton hotel set for 2025 opening

– The Cambria Hotel, located near Las Tablas Road in Templeton, is currently under construction with an expected opening date in early 2025. The hotel will be three stories with 132 units.

An application for a construction permit was submitted to San Luis Obispo County in October 2021, which was then approved in August 2023.

From spacious, stylish rooms to welcoming common spaces, we want guests to feel a true connection to the destination,” said Filipponi, adding that “our team is dedicated to providing personalized, memorable service, creating a retreat where guests can unwind and enjoy an elevated travel experience.”
The Cambria Hotel will include a restaurant and bar that will “showcase local flavors and ingredients, giving guests a taste of the area’s culinary offerings,” according to Filipponi. An outdoor pool, lounge areas, and a fitness center will be built. For guests staying due to work, there will be meeting rooms and specific workspaces available, along with WiFi. In the future, guests can expect to enjoy activities sponsored by the Santa Margarita Ranch, such as zip lining, escape rooms, horseback riding, and wine tasting.
