New Zoo Education Program Series coming to Paso Robles Library
–As part of the 2018 Summer Reading Program, the Library has partnered with the Charles Paddock Zoo to bring a monthly Zoo Education program to the Library. “We are so excited to be able to offer our patrons a monthly Saturday program, which will allow the whole family to attend our wildly popular live animal shows,” says Youth Services Librarian Melissa Bailey.
Coming up:
- June 30 Animal Kingdom: Learn the difference between birds, reptiles, mammals and amphibians in an exciting way.
- July 14 Habitat Happenings: Explore some of the unique habitats that animals survive and thrive in while learning about the adaptations that help them along the way.
- August 4 Animal Munchies: Learn the difference between herbivores, carnivores, insectivores and omnivores with live animal ambassadors, skulls and teeth.
All programs are at 2 p.m. Free tickets are required and will be available at the Children’s Desk 30 minutes prior to show time. For more information, call Youth Services Librarian Melissa Bailey.
