Mallory Paschich joins Nicora Winery

–Nick Elliott, winemaker, forklift driver, adventurer, and proprietor of Nicora Winery has introduced Mallory Paschich as his first full-time winery employee and team member. Paschich, whose passion is good wine, dogs, the Seattle Seahawks and camping hails from the Pacific Northwest via Boston, where she studied business at the University of Connecticut. Her initial education in the wine industry was with Epoch Estate Wines, where she was involved in hospitality and wine allocation.

The addition of Paschich to the Nicora team will allow the tasting room, located in Tin City in Paso Robles, to be open (by appointment only), Thursdays through Sundays from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Currently there are four wines on the tasting menu: Euphoric (2013, 92 Wine Enthusiast), Shadow Canyon (2013 vineyard designate, 91 Wine Spectator), Buxom (2013, 92 Wine Enthusiast) and Denner Vineyard Viognier (2014). Hurry to taste these great 2013 vintages, as the new lineup of 2014’s will be hitting the tasting room soon.

Introducing Paschich, Nick states: “As of today Mallory Paschich has joined me as my first ever full-time employee. Mallory (you may also refer to her as, Mal) will specifically focus on the wine club and tasting room. I can’t tell you how excited I am to have Mal on board. Her knowledge and welcoming personality is going to be a fantastic addition to Team Nicora, now a party of two. ”
