Nonprofit's $326,000 investment aims to support arts education

Grant supports Paso Robles Youth Arts Center improvement, expansion

    – Local nonprofit Must! Charities has announced a $326,000 investment in the Paso Robles Youth Arts Center to support the growth and development of arts education in the community. The funding will focus on improving student, staff, safety, and technology resources to expand the center’s capacity and enhance future offerings.

This project builds on professional development and strategic planning completed by the center’s staff and governing board in 2023, during a period of increased demand for services. The new funding will address critical needs, including improving safety, increasing staff support, and enhancing facility security to ensure a safe environment for students and families.

The center, located in one of Paso Robles’ most underserved areas, provides arts education to over 600 students each year. It bridges the gap between low- and high-income students, ensuring access to arts education and laying a foundation for success that extends beyond the classroom.

“This project enables the center to further its mission, setting the stage for growth in the years to come,” Must! Charities said in a statement. “Your continued support will make a lasting impact on the lives of our community’s youth.”

The collaboration will ensure the center can continue offering arts education to students in a supportive, secure atmosphere.
