North County Farmers Market celebrates one year anniversary

—The North County Farmers Market celebrated their first year anniversary on Apr. 4 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Atascadero Sunken Gardens. This event also marked the “Kick off Community Day”, which runs from Apr. 4 to Sept. on the first Wednesday of the month. There was live music, a bounce house from Hop’s Bounce House, and local businesses at the Community Day.

“It’s hard to believe they’ve only been here a year. We’ve certainly enjoyed having them here in the Sunken Gardens and being a part of our downtown,” said city manager Rachelle Rickard at the Atascadero City Council meeting on Mar. 27.

The North County Farmers Market is every Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Sunken Gardens.
