Obituary for Arlene Stanley, 83
–Arlene Stanley, 83, of Paso Robles finished her course in this land of the dying, and went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ, in the land of the living, on July 27, 2019. Arlene was born in Oceanside, CA. She trusted Jesus Christ as her Savior as a young girl. She was a faithful wife, mother, grandma and servant of the Lord. Arlene enjoyed being with her family, cooking, sewing, gardening, and serving in the kitchen at Bible camps.
She attended Chapman College in Orange, CA where she met Bryan Stanley, her husband of 42 years. She graduated from Cal Poly in 1980 with a degree in Home Economics and then went on to teach at the local Christian school.
Arlene is survived by her four children: son, Dale and Denise Stanley of Paso Robles; son, Mark and Lynn Stanley of Paso Robles; son, Paul and Debbie Stanley of Arroyo Grande; and daughter Gay and David Vandenhoek. She was blessed with 14 grandchildren and 4 great- granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her husband Bryan Stanley.
A memorial service will be held August 24, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Lopez Canyon Bible Camp in Arroyo Grande, CA.
