Delbert Arthurs.
–Delbert G. Arthurs, 85, passed away April 9, 2020, at his home in Paso Robles, CA. At this time, a memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Arthurs was born June 24, 1934 in Binger, Oklahoma to Marion and Ruby Arthurs. Delbert and his family moved to the Central Coast of California when he was around 3 years old.
Mr. Arthurs served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War as a Basic Airman. After his service in the Air Force, Delbert worked in the San Ardo oil fields until his retirement in the early 1990’s. Delbert and his wife, Virginia made their home in Paso Robles, CA after his Honorable discharge from the service.
Delbert is predeceased by his father, Marion Arthurs; his mother Ruby Ryburn Arthurs, his older brother Marion Arthurs Jr, and his wife of 60 years, Virginia Pruitt Arthurs. Delbert is survived by his younger sister, Velvadean Arthurs Elder; 3 children, Pamela Arthurs, David Arthurs, Brian Arthurs; 5 grandchildren, Joshua Sumpter, Brent Arthurs, Megan Arthurs, Shaylyn Arthurs, Brandon Arthurs; and 3 great grandchildren, Emily Sumpter, Jacob Sumpter, and Natalia Sumpter.
