Celebration of life and barbecue happening April 2 at Jack Ranch

– It is with a heavy heart that I share with you the passing of Jeff Stemper, a long-time resident of Parkfield, born and raised in Paso Robles, California. On Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022, Jeff closed his eyes one last time and went peacefully while he slept. Jeff was 56 years old and living his best life. Jeff worked for the Hearst Corporation as Farm Manager of the Jack Ranch. Jeff worked at Jack Ranch for the last 20 years. When he wasn’t working you could find Jeff hunting, out on his boat fishing or spending time with his grandson and family. Jeff grew up to be a man of many talents. He loved to build and fix things and was a very gifted welder. There was almost nothing that he couldn’t fix. Those who knew Jeff would agree, he was genuine, honest, and truly a man of integrity. He had a good heart, when he gave you his word he meant it. Jeff was “One of the good ones” and left lasting memories in the hearts of many people. Some might remember him for his boyish humor. Others might remember his beautiful smile that lit up a room. Memories may vary, but we can all agree on one thing…He will definitely be missed.

Jeff is survived by his two children Cortnee Stemper and Rusty Stemper. Son-in-law, Dylan Hickok, and grandson Hank. His mother Jan Stemper Brown and stepdad, Russ Brown, sister, Lisa Stemper McCarty, his niece Akasha Greff, and 2 nephews Bunker Greff and Chaz Stemper. Jeff’s family also includes many uncles, aunts, and a long list of cousins. Jeff is preceded in death by his father, Leon Stemper. May they both rest in peace.

The family will be holding a celebration of life and barbecue for Jeff Stemper on April 2, 2022, at 1 p.m. at The Jack Ranch 76903 Cholame Valley Rd. Shandon, Ca 93461. RSVP Appreciated: Cortnee (805) 286-8116 or Kate (805) 235-7816.

Please join us, not to say goodbye, but to share your memories and keep his spirit alive.

-Forever in our hearts.
