Obituary for Sandra Anderson

Obituary for Sandra Anderson.

–On Dec. 11, 1964, Jose and Maria Arana, gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Like a spring flower, she blossomed into a beautiful young lady and a nurturing mother and wife. Her unconditional dedication and full attention to her family was unparalleled. Sandra was blessed with an amazing belief in humanity and compassion for all. She leaves behind her husband and daughter, Darrell & Adrianna Anderson.

With a vivacious spirit and infectious smile, she touched all of those she came in contact with; therefore, her life & sprit will never be forgotten. Her enduring faith in humankind in addition to being a protector of our infants, youth and less fortunate gave her optimism and solace. She will be truly and forever missed by all. Her tenderness, her courage, strength, and wisdom will continue to live on in all of those that she is loved by.

Sandra was born in Mexicali, Baja California on 12/11/1964 and sadly made her departure 11/28/2019 due to her heart. The Arana family travels guided them to Delano/McFarland for a brief period of time where the family moved to the central coast and settled in Oceano, Ca. Where Sandra graduated from Arroyo Grande high school and shortly after began working at Cal Poly University. She became a proud owner operation of Mexicali Express in Grover Beach. To further advance her employment opportunities and while working full time at Cal Poly, she attended and received a certificate of completion dispatching courses at Alan Hancock.

Due to medical challenges, she sadly retired in November 2010, where she made lifelong friendships and connections that she considered to be her second family.

Sandra’s hobbies included her great love for traveling to different cities and love for the Caribbean. Her most cherished time was her mother/daughter days that were filled with shopping, makeup, & getting her nails done. She enjoyed being able to just spend time with our beloved daughter Adrianna, who was her whole existence & reason of being. Sandra has always been the kind of woman that enjoyed the little things in life. She is a loving, affectionate, attentive, and an exceptional wife, best friend and irreplaceable soul mate to her husband Darrell. These are the hats and roles that Sandra took on proudly. Sandra preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Arana, out of the three sisters.

Surviving family members are: Father Jose, Mother, Maria Arana, and her baby sister, Bernice Ayala all of which reside in Santa Maria, Ca.

Niece & Nephews include Erika Arana, Christian, Mark, and Michel Ayala of Santa Maria, Shawna Washington of Long Beach, Theresa Quarles of Bakersfield, and Latoya & Brian Finlayson, of Las Vegas, Ca. Brother & sister in-law Ronald Frank Gupton, of San Luis Obispo, Charles and Shelly Horton, Arroyo Grande & Ethel Gupton of Oxnard, Ca.
