Obituary of Cyndra Jean White

– Cyndra Jean (Klugh) White was born Sept. 5, 1948, and went home to Jesus October 8, 2025. Cyndie was the firstborn of 5 children to parents Dean and Lenore Klugh, growing up on cattle ranches. Her family moved to Shandon, CA when she was 12, and she never left. During her teen years she was very active in 4-H: leadership, market cattle, entering baking and sewing, prepared demonstrations, and more at the fair.
At Shandon High School she played tennis and basketball, was a cheerleader and FFA Sweetheart. (That was way back in the day). And that is where she caught the eye of Kenneth White and he caught her heart. Kenny and Cyndie’s dates were often burning weeds in the field or washing his blue 442! And she loved it.
Kenny and Cyndie were married in January of 1970. The center of their life became their relationships with Jesus Christ, each other, their family, and the farming of White Ranch as the fourth generation on the land. They loved their community. Many youngsters were given rides to sports practices, games, ropings, or coached by one or both.
Cyndie lost Kenny in 2007, but never lost her love and respect for him and their time together. She continued expressing that love to those around her including all the dogs and cats she encountered. But if it’s a rattlesnake it best stay away as she was a deadeye with a shovel.
Cyndie saw her salvation as the greatest day in her life. One of her fellow believers described her this way: “She was a beautiful gift from God. She gave…rides (to the doctor, etc.), support in court, a home for the wayward, (was) a hostess… She was a strong and giving person.” She knew her Lord and Savior was on the other side of death’s door.
Cyndra Jean White was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Clayton White, “extra son” Billy Matthew Karnes, parents Dean and Lenore Klugh and brother-in-law, Jerold Randolph White. She is survived by her sons and their families: Clay and Melanie White, Koyle and Keeleigh; Clint White, Ryder White; her siblings, many nieces and nephews, and a large number of people that loved her very much.
