– Cynthia Jasmine Alvarado Torrez born May 21, 1963 in Hanford, California passed away April 2, 2026 in her home in Atascadero, California. Cynthia was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Cynthia will be remembered for her kindness, her unwavering support for those she loved and the warmth she brought into every room. Cynthia had a beautiful spirit and a generous heart, always putting others before herself and always offering comfort, laughter and wisdom in times of need. A devoted grandmother whose greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren and making memories that will live forever in their hearts and minds and whose spirit that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. Cynthia also expressed her love with cooking and always sewing blankets for the family she loved.
She is preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Ernestina Alvarado, her brother Rick Alvarado and her niece Rebecca Gutierrez. She leaves behind her best friend and husband Robert Torrez who with him lived her dream of living near the coast the last remaining months of her life. She also leaves behind daughters April Gonzalez and Aleah Perez, her son Victor Perez and her son in laws Javier Gonzalez and Tristano Castillo along with daughter in law Monique Perez. Grandchildren Airreona Perico, Matthew, Eli , Anissa and Derek Gonzalez and Ashton and Jasper Castillo. Brothers Raymond, Bobby, George Alvarado and sister Debbie Alvarado and countless aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Viewing will be held Monday April 27 from 9:00 am – 11:00 am with funeral services from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm at Whitehurst McNamara – 100 W. Bush St., Hanford CA 93230 Graveside services and Burial to follow Calvary Cemetery 11680 S. 10th Ave. Hanford Ca. Celebration of life to be at Kings County Bowling alley 1050 E. Lacey Blvd, Hanford Ca at 2:00pm.
