Donn “Bubba” Heisen Bunte, Jr.
– Donn “Bubba” Heisen Bunte, Jr., age 68, passed suddenly as the result of a construction accident. He was born on July 23, 1957, in King City, CA.
Bubba spent his entire working life in the construction industry. A master carpenter, he approached the field with pride, passion, skill, knowledge, and his commitment to integrity.
He found peace at the beach, surfing Morro Rock, reading, and spending time with his beloved dogs.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him and those whose lives he touched. He leaves behind his wife, Wendy Ayers; his mother, Patricia Bunte; brothers, Todd Bunte, Mark Bunte, and Eric Bunte; his sisters, Elaine Pappenfus, Aileen Madson, Kathleen Agostini; and preceding him in passing, Nadine Bunte Enterline, as well as many cousins, nephews who were always present in his life.
A celebration of life will be held February 25, 2026 at 12:00pm at St. Williams Church in Atascadero.
