Obituary of Elizabeth Margaret Wiesner, 58

    Elizabeth Margaret Wiesner
    Feb 19, 1967 – Oct. 5, 2025

    – Elizabeth (Beth) Wiesner passed away unexpectedly at her home in Paso Robles, CA, on Oct. 5, 2025. Elizabeth was born in Burbank, California, to Jean Dukes (Litsey) and Kenneth Lee Dukes. She was raised in Santa Barbara, CA. She graduated from San Marcos High School in 1985. She recently enjoyed celebrating her 40th-year reunion with her classmates and lifelong friends. She graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration.

Elizabeth pursued a career in Public Administration but found her calling in Philanthropy and Hospitality. She excelled at the California Wellness Foundation and later at the Salvation Army. Her hospitality career spanned several local wineries, including Adelaida and Justin Wineries, the Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce, and the Ava Hotel.

A chance meeting in 1990 with D. Bradley Wiesner in Hollywood, CA, resulted in true love. Two years later, they cemented their love in marriage. They initially settled in North Hills and Thousand Oaks, CA, where they welcomed their first son, MacHenry M. Wiesner. Elizabeth encouraged and supported Brad’s career journey across the United States, which allowed Beth to be a full-time stay-at-home mother. Beth and Brad’s first out-of-state move was to Woodinville, Washington, where they welcomed their next two sons, Mason B. Wiesner and Marshall S. Wiesner. Beth and Brad subsequently moved to Marietta, GA, Summit, NJ, and finally settled in Paso Robles, CA.

Beth was an amazing boy mother, whether volunteering at the boys’ schools or taking the boys to their endless practices and games. She was a strong believer in academics, which she instilled in her sons, resulting in their graduation from USC, Cal Poly, and Cal Berkeley, respectively. The boys’ love of sports rubbed off on Beth in her love of tennis. She completed several half marathons, a triathlon, and even skydiving.

She easily made lifelong friends in every location and situation. She had the most beautiful smile and always had a kind word for everyone she met. She was generous in deed and spirit. Many of her friends have commented on how Beth was a light to every room she entered.

Beth was predeceased by her parents Jean Volmar and Kenneth Dukes, and her sister Cathleen Rodman. She is survived by her husband Brad Wiesner and her 3 sons: Mac, Mason, and Marshall.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, Nov. 22, at 11 a.m. at Highlands Church in Paso Robles.
