Obituary of Faye Braly, 91
– Faye Braly, 91, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 6, 1934, in Spencerville, OK. Faye loved to laugh and dedicated her life to creating a warm and nurturing home for her family.
Faye’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends. You could show up anytime, and she would be ready to play cards and make sure you had something to eat. Throughout her life, she was extremely involved in multiple clubs, along with her husband, “Al”, including the Boat and Ski club, Cuesta Crankers, Lions Club, Elks, Moose, Eagles, and Masons/Daughters of the Nile.
She leaves an amazing legacy behind. She is survived by three of her children: Richard Braly, Debbie Johnson, and Rod Braly, along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Al Braly, daughter Carolyn Steadman, and son-in-law, Ray Salazar.
She is 1 of 17 children, with only her brother Jack remaining. A celebration of Faye’s life will be held on March 7th at the Moose Lodge in Atascadero (1 p.m.).
