    Obituary of Lorraine Palos, 96

    – Lorraine R. Palos (Milley), a cherished figure in her community and a beacon of familial love, passed away on Sept. 3, 2024, in Templeton, at the age of 96. Born on September 19, 1927, in Boston, MA, Lorraine was known for her warmth and dedication as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. With God and family being at the center of her life, Lorraine helped out at her church and children’s ministry. She assisted in her children’s activities in Boy Scouts, Camp Fire Girls and more. Lorraine taught by example; sharing holiday meals with servicemen, welcoming new neighbors with baked goods and providing meals to those in need. Lorraine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alexander S. Palos.

    She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her 8 children: Robert Palos of N. Attleboro, MA; Ronald Palos of Henderson, NV; Rebecca Spiegel of Walpole, MA; Karen Willer of Parker, CO; Nancy Lukiewski of Santa Paula, CA; Kenneth Palos of Prescott, AZ; Beverly Collins of Moorpark, CA; and Arlene Adkins of Byron, CA. She will also be fondly remembered by her 23 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life.

    A memorial service to celebrate Lorraine’s life is being planned for 2025. Details will be shared closer to the date to honor her memory and the profound impact she had on those around her.
