Obituary of Lucille ‘Lucy’ Osborn

Lucille ‘Lucy’ Osborn.
– Lucille “Lucy” Osborn was born in Fresno, California, in 1938. While on a vacation to the Central Coast, she met Jerry Osborn, whom she later married. They shared 46 years of marriage until his passing in 2002.
Lucy had many interests, including painting, cooking, gardening, traveling, scrapbooking, and dancing. Above all, she loved creating a home that was warm and welcoming to friends and family.
Over the years, she enjoyed volunteering her time with Insight Unlimited in Pismo Beach and the Literacy Council of San Luis Obispo County, tutoring students learning English as a second language. She was also one of the owners of Fins Restaurant & Pismo State Beach Golf Course and Lubella Clothing.
Lucy was known as a loving and attentive mother, Grammie, and Gigi, as well as a cheerful and caring friend. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.
She is survived by her daughter, Stacey Gregory (Lin); granddaughters Colleen Stefanek (Ryan) and Leanne Tunmire (Jake); great-grandsons Colton and Jack; nephews Tom Thompson (Amy) and Grant Burton; and niece Whitney Aebersold (Brett).
A graveside service will be held April 6 at 10:30 a.m. at Arroyo Grande Cemetery. An art show and celebration of Lucy’s life will follow at the Osborn residence. All who loved her are invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Woods Humane Society.
