    July 11, 1936 – Oct. 8, 2024

    – Peggy A. Walker was born on July 11, 1936, to L.E. & Mary Butler in McCrory, Arkansas. She passed away on Oct. 8, 2024, in Paso Robles.

    Peggy was preceded in death by her husband Jim, who passed away in 2013. Her brother Harlan Butler, passed away in 2021. She is survived by her daughter Vicky (Lonnie) Green of Penngrove, CA, her son Rick (Cindy) Walker of Paso Robles, CA; her four grandchildren – Kim (Jason) Nyberg, Jerry (Karen) Green, Caitlin (Cristian) Ison, and Taylor (Brandon) Tognazzini; and her nine great-grandchildren Matthew Perez, Nathan & Logan Nyberg, Sawyer & Marlow Green, Tjaden, Adina and Declan Ison, and Olivia Tognazzini.

    Peggy worked as Library Clerk from 1973 – 1975 then as Registrar from 1975 – 1998 for King City High School. She retired in 1998. Jim and Peggy were lifelong residents of King City until they moved to Paso Robles in 2006 to be closer to family.

    Peggy enjoyed reading, antiquing, gardening, crafts, crocheting, and most of all spending time with family and friends. One of her favorite Family Traditions was to host a Christmas Eve Get-Together at her home every year. She loved getting as many of the family together to enjoy good company and eat good food.

    At Peggy’s request, there will be a private service.
