    Obituary of Robert Gannage

    Obituary of Robert Gannage.

    – Robert (Bob) was born in Detroit, Michigan to MaryAnne and Mitchel Michael Gannage, on May 15, 1948. Robert grew up in the suburb of Redford, Michigan and later moved to California in 1970. He married Christine Ann Mason on April 13, 1968, in West Bloomfield, Michigan.

    In 1975 he graduated from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, California, with a bachelor’s degree in business and accounting. He practiced as a Real Estate Broker in Los Osos, California, from 1978 until 2010. Robert was the president of the San Luis Real Estate Exchange Group, specializing in 1031 Tax Deferred Exchanges.

    In his later years Robert lived with his wife on the island of Kauai. Robert loved playing tennis all throughout his life and played with some of the elite tennis players from around the world. He yielded his life to Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in their early years of marriage, and over his 40 years on the Central Coast he and his family attended SLO Naz, Grace Church, Shoreline Calvary, and Baywood Community Church.

    He was a wonderful dad to his 5 children and “Papa” to 10 grandchildren. In recent years he could be found enjoying a great cup of coffee over conversations with friends and family at any number of the wonderful coffee shops in North County.

    A memorial will be held on October 4, 2025.
