    Sandra Ann Albus.

    March 12, 1962 – Jan. 8, 2026

    – Sandra Ann Albus, lovingly known as Sandy, passed away on January 8, 2026, at the age of 63.

Sandy was born on March 12, 1962, at Sisters Hospital in Santa Maria, California. She was the daughter of Sally Fesler-Hamill and Thomas Hamill.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Edward Albus; her daughters, Lindsay Abatti (Matt) and Lauren Charlton (Aaron); and her beloved grandchildren, McKenna, Toby, Wyatt, Emilee, and Maddox. She is also survived by her siblings, Susan, Lori, and Gary.

Sandy grew up on Poppy Lane in the Orcutt area, where she formed many lifelong friendships. She attended Alice Shaw Elementary School, Lakeview Junior High, and Righetti High School, graduating with the Class of 1980.

After high school, Sandy attended Santa Maria Beauty College, where she earned her cosmetology license. She went on to build a successful career spanning more than 40 years as a hairstylist in the Santa Maria and Paso Robles areas. Sandy truly loved her work and cherished the relationships she built with her clients throughout her career.

Sandy’s happy places included Kauai, the family ranch in Tepesquet Canyon, and her salon, Uptown Hair Salon. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family and friends.

Sandy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her—her family, friends, and the many clients whose lives she touched.

A private celebration of life will be held for immediate family.
