Tina Bojorquez Obituary
– Tina Bojorquez died peacefully at her home in Selma, California, on January 4 at the age of 79. Tina was born in Atascadero on June 20, 1946, to George and Jessie Ballert. She and her sisters, Ginny and Mary, were raised in Paso Robles, and she graduated from Paso Robles Union High School in 1964. Tina attended Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, where she was a little sister of the Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity and met the love of her life, Steve Bojorquez. Tina and Steve were married in 1967. They welcomed children, Stephanie and Brandon, and eventually settled in Reedley in 1975.
Tina was a clerk at the Selma Justice Court for more than 20 years. In retirement, she enjoyed traveling with Steve, but found her greatest joy in spending time with her grandchildren: Kelly, Sam, Katherine, Joshua, Kimberly, and Sophie. She was also a beloved mother-in-law to Stephanie’s husband, Rich, and Brandon’s wife, Raquel. A celebration of life will be held during the summer. Remembrances may be made in her memory to The Salvation Army.
