Oct. 2 is ‘International Walk to School Day’
–Wednesday, October 2, is International Walk to School Day.
Walk to School Day is an energizing event. It reminds adults and students alike of the simple joy of walking or bicycling to school, while building support for creating or improving safer walking and bicycling routes.
Started in 1997, Walk to School Day is a global event that involves communities from more than 40 countries walking and biking to school on the same day.
