Inaugural Dia de los Muertos event to be held Oct. 26

Organizers still seeking vendors, ofrendas for Dia de los Muertos

    – The Downtown Paso Robles Main Street Association and the Central Coast Hispanic Business Association are jointly organizing the inaugural Paso Robles Dia de los Muertos Festival on Oct. 26.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Downtown City Park in Paso Robles.

The festival will feature traditional food, music, dance, artisans, educational workshops, and free entertainment for families.

Organizers are still accepting vendor applications. Participants can also enter family ofrendas (family shrines) for display. Some ofrendas will be exhibited at the Carnegie Library with historical information, while others will be shown in city park during the event.

Applications for vendors and ofrendas are available on the Paso Robles Downtown website. Interested parties can access the forms by visiting www.pasoroblesdowntown.org, clicking on “events,” then “Dia de los Muertos Festival,” and scrolling below the flyers.

For more information, visit the Paso Robles Downtown website and check the events section. The organizers advise checking back regularly for updates.

Those seeking additional details can contact Paso Robles Main Street at (805) 238-4103. The association’s office is located at 835 12th Street (Norma’s Way), Suite D, Paso Robles, CA 93446.
