Paso Robles Basin sustainable management workshops slated

Paso Robles groundwater basin.

–The County of San Luis Obispo invites basin users and interested community members to attend a public workshop on Sustainable Management Criteria (SMC) development for the Paso Robles Subbasin Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) in accordance with the requirements of the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA).

Two dates and times are provided for the public and stakeholders’ convenience; the same content will be presented at both meetings:

Thursday, Oct. 4, 6 p.m.
Kermit King Elementary, 700 Schoolhouse Cir., Paso Robles.

Monday, Oct. 8, 6 p.m.
Creston Elementary School, 5105 O’Donovan Rd., Creston.

For more information regarding SGMA efforts, to receive emails about future updates on GSP development in the Paso Basin, or to access meeting agendas and materials, please visit the county’s SGMA website http://slocountywater.org/sgma and sign up for the email list.

You can also visit the Paso Robles Groundwater Communication Portal (GCP) website http://pasogcp.com/ to view additional information on how you can participate in GSP development for the Basin.
