Paso car club holds group drive to Cayucos
Group travels Vineyard Drive, Highway 46, and Old Creek Road
– Members of the Paso Lotus Car Club held a group drive April 2 along several North County and coastal routes, concluding with a stop in Cayucos.
The group began on Highway 101 and traveled west on Vineyard Drive before continuing onto Highway 46 and Old Creek Road. The route included a series of curves and elevation changes before connecting to Highway 1. From there, participants traveled north to Cayucos.
The group concluded the drive at The Sea Shanty Restaurant, where a table had been reserved.
Participants included Steve Carle, driving a Lotus Emira, and his guest Maurice; Dennis and Marla Sol, driving a Lotus Elan; Bob Klemme, driving a Lotus Emira; Richard Murray, driving a Lotus Elise; Dave Low, driving a Lotus Super 7, and his guest Mary; and Obie and Joy Silverwood, driving a Lotus Emira.
Obie and Joy Silverwood organized and led the drive.
