Series pairs classic movies with Paso Robles wine country
– Paso Picture Show, an outdoor cinema series pairing classic films with winery settings, will debut Aug. 16 at Bianchi Winery & Tasting Room in Paso Robles.
Created by husband-and-wife team Bradley and Wilder Simmons, the traveling series will feature screenings at various wineries in Paso Robles wine country. The couple, both entertainment industry veterans, relocated from Hollywood after two decades in film and television.
“Our local wineries are stunning, but most close before the magic of nighttime sets in,” Bradley Simmons said. “We wanted to create a cinematic experience that captures the magic of Paso after hours.”
“There’s something special about sitting under the stars, surrounded by vineyards, watching a classic film the way it was meant to be seen, on a big screen with a community of movie lovers,” Wilder Simmons said.

The opening night screening will feature Tombstone (R)(1993), starring Kurt Russell and Val Kilmer.
