Paso Robles Airport Commission accepting applications for vacancies

Loyd’s Aviation begins operations at Paso Robles Municipal Airport

Commissioners are appointed to three-year terms

    – The City of Paso Robles is accepting applications for three upcoming vacancies on the Airport Commission.

Applications will be accepted until Sept. 25. The anticipated interview date with the City Council is Oct. 22.

The Airport Commission supports the Paso Robles City Council by gathering public input on airport operations and future development, offering advice, and making decisions in areas delegated by the council. Applicants must qualify as either an “airport stakeholder” or a “community resource,” as defined by the commission bylaws.

Airport Commission meetings are held every other month on the third Thursday at the Paso Robles Airport Terminal, located at 4900 Wing Way. Meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. and typically last about two hours.

Commissioners are appointed to three-year terms after an interview and selection by the City Council.

For more information, contact Airport Manager Mark Scandalis at airport@prcity.com or (805) 237-3877. Applications are available at www.prcity.com/1181/Vacancies-and-Applications.
