Paso Robles Art Association course covers smartphone photography, social media basics
Class includes editing, filters, and accessory tips
– The Paso Robles Art Association will host two back-to-back workshops on Aug. 3 aimed at helping participants improve their cell phone photography skills and learn the basics of using Instagram.
Both workshops will be taught by local instructor Donna Cruciani and will take place at the Paso Robles Art Association gallery, located inside Studios on the Park at 1130 Pine Street in downtown Paso Robles.
The first session, titled iPhone Photography 101, will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. It is open to users of both iPhone and Android smartphones and will cover live photo editing, cropping, enhancements, filters, cinematic and panoramic settings, and the use of accessories such as pop sockets, selfie sticks and tripods. The class includes time for questions and answers.
The second session, Instagram 101: Getting Started with Social Media, will run from 11:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. This workshop will provide instruction on how to create and manage an Instagram account, edit profiles, create photo posts, and use features including Stories, Reels, Live, tagging, and adding music and locations. It is designed for artists, small business owners and individuals looking to engage through social media.
The Paso Robles Art Association, established in 1949, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that promotes the arts through education, outreach, exhibitions and events. The association supports local artists and art enthusiasts in the Paso Robles community.
