Paso Robles Art Association offers iPhone photography classes

Session on iPhone photography led by award-winning photographer Donna Cruciani
– Paso Robles Art Association will offer two iPhone photography and social media classes on Saturday, Jan. 10, as part of its ongoing photography education series.
Award-winning photographer Donna Cruciani will present the hands-on classes, which focus on smartphone photography and introductory Instagram use.
The first session is a one-hour iPhone photography class designed to help participants take better photos using their smartphones. The class will cover built-in phone features, including live photo editing, cropping, enhancements, and filters. Participants are asked to bring their iPhone or other smartphone.
“There are so many features on our phones for live photo editing, cropping, enhancements, and filters that I never knew about,” said Kris Thompson, president of the Paso Robles Art Association.
Immediately following the photography session, Cruciani will present a two-hour Instagram class for beginners. The class will cover creating an account, setting up a profile, creating photo posts, and navigating the platform’s features.
“Instagram isn’t always easy to get started with, and this is a great opportunity to learn in a short time,” said Linda Grone Smith, a member of the Paso Robles Art Association.
Both classes are open to the public. Members of the Paso Robles Art Association receive discounted class fees and additional benefits, including opportunities to exhibit and sell artwork, participation in the Painters Guild and Pastels Guild, and invitations to exhibit-opening receptions.
