Paso Robles Art in the Park attracts hundreds
–Art in the Park attracted hundreds of people to the Paso Robles Downtown City Park over the weekend. Dozens of artists from several western states, and a few from the east coast displayed art, ceramics, photography, jewelry and wood craft.
Julie Dunn of Park Street Gallery in Paso Robles showed work from her gallery. Although her gallery is only a block from the downtown city park, Julie said the art show enhances awareness about her gallery’s art. Julie said. “I do an entire booth for our gallery. Not just work by me and my business partner Peggy Turk, but 35 artists’ work. This is a representative sampling of Park Street Gallery.”
Julie showed art Sunday, despite the fact it was her birthday. “I wasn’t thrilled when I found out I’d be doing this show on my birthday, but it’s kind of a birthday celebration.”
“Art in the Park” may return again in October to the downtown city park in Paso Robles.
