Paso Robles Bearcats Girls’ Soccer plays Arroyo Grande 

Paso Robles girls soccer–The Paso Robles Girls Soccer Team played Arroyo Grande Friday night at War Memorial Stadium just before the rain started. Paso Robles scored first on a rebound goal just before the end of the first half. The ball was partially blocked by the AG goalie, but several Bearcats tried to score on the rebound. The ball bounced over the goalie’s head and into the goal. So, the Bearcats took a 1-0 lead at halftime.

In the second half, the Eagles tied the game, which forced overtime. The Eagles scored in overtime for the victory.

The Eagles improve to 15-3, 6-0 in conference. They are ranked 64th in California and 127th in the nation.

The Bearcats fall to 10-7 overall, 3-3 in league.They are ranked 221st in the state and 454th in the nation. On Tuesday, the Bearcats will host the Atascadero Greyhounds (10-4-4, 4-2).

The Paso Robles JV beat Arroyo Grande 2-1. The Paso Robles freshmen team tied Atascadero 1-1. The freshman game was played on the field behind Paso Robles High School.

In Santa Maria, Paso Robles boys beat Pioneer Valley 2-1 in double overtime. The Paso Robles JV tied Pioneer Valley JV 1-1 before the varsity game was played.
