Paso Robles begins citywide upgrades to water meters

Majority of upgrades will not interrupt water service

    – The City of Paso Robles, in collaboration with Professional Meters Inc. (PMI), is upgrading water meters throughout the city as part of the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Water Meter Retrofit Project. The initiative aims to improve the efficiency of water meter readings and provide customers with detailed information about their water usage, including leak alerts.

The majority of upgrades will not interrupt water service, according to city officials. Residents whose service may be impacted will receive advance notice through door hangers.

Residents are encouraged to direct any questions about the project to PMI’s dedicated support line at (866) 586-6576. PMI staff involved in the project will carry official badges and use vehicles marked with the company logo.

This project is part of the city’s effort to enhance water management for Paso Robles residents.
