    Paso Robles breaks heat record Saturday

    Previous record of 97 degrees set in 1997

    – Paso Robles reached 99 degrees at 2:10 p.m. on Saturday, breaking the previous record of 97 degrees set in 1997, according to John Lindsey’s Pacific Gas and Electric Diablo Canyon weather forecast page.

    San Luis Obispo recorded a high of 86 degrees. The record for the city remains 95 degrees, set in 1993.

    The weather forecast from Monday through the following Monday shows a pleasant and mostly sunny week ahead.

    On Monday, skies will be mostly sunny with a much lower high of 67 degrees and a low of 43 degrees. Tuesday will bring partly cloudy conditions, with temperatures reaching a high of 72 degrees and a low of 42 degrees.

    Wednesday will be sunny with a high of 78 degrees and a low of 47 degrees. Thursday will be mostly sunny and warmer, with temperatures peaking at 82 degrees and dropping to 49 degrees. Friday will be partly cloudy, with a high of 77 degrees and a low of 48 degrees.

    The weekend begins with partly cloudy skies on Saturday, reaching a high of 74 degrees and a low of 45 degrees. Sunday will remain partly cloudy, with a high of 77 degrees and a low of 48 degrees. The week concludes on Monday with sunny conditions and temperatures rising to 82 degrees and falling to 51 degrees.

    No precipitation is expected during this period, and temperatures will show a gradual warming trend.
