    Paso Robles city employees among highest paid in the county 

    –Paso Robles city administrators are among the highest paid in San Luis Obispo County, according to data from the California Controller’s office.

    There are a total of 254 Paso Robles City Employees with a total of $22,991,151 paid out in salary, overtime, and benefits. Paso Robles had a total population of 31,559 people in 2017. 

    Here are the top 10 highest paid salaries in Paso Robles:

    1. City Manager: $213,779

    2. Fire Battalion Chief: $196,278

    3. Police Chief: $191,573

    4. Assistant City Manager: $183,419

    5. Fire Chief: $180,587

    6. Fire Captain/Paramedic: $178,592

    7. Community Services Director: $178,413

    8. Fire Captain: $176,859

    9. Public Works Director: $173,901

    10. Community Development Director: $172,782

     

    The city manager, public works director and community development director all receive the second-highest salaries for their jobs, just behind their counterparts in Pismo Beach and San Luis Obispo.
