‘Paso Robles Destination’ searching for inaugural executive director
New not-for-profit organization seeking a champion to lead tourism marketing for the destination
–Paso Robles Destination, the area’s new, not-for-profit 501c (6) marketing organization, has begun the search for its first Executive Director. The organization’s key mission is to promote Paso Robles, California as a premier year-round destination of choice for targeted leisure, family, meeting and group travelers resulting in more frequent visitation, longer stays and increased revenue. The Board of Directors is seeking a passionate and dynamic individual to pioneer their mission.
This position is an opportunity to lead tourism marketing for the destination named Best Wine Country Town by Sunset Magazine in 2016. The Executive Director will direct all aspects of the organization while serving as the primary face and spokesperson for Paso Robles Destination. This highly motivated individual will serve as the lead representative in promoting and selling the city of Paso Robles as a tourist and meeting destination. Paso Robles Destination promotes the region through advertising, marketing, public relations, group sales and its community partners. The Executive Director will participate in professional meetings, local functions, and on tourism related boards and committees.
The candidate for this position must understand tourism development, its economic impact and the importance of its contribution to the Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo County communities.
