Paso Robles distilleries host three-day tasting event
Attendees can visit 12 distilleries and collect stamps
– The Paso Robles Distillery Trail Weekend will return Aug. 8–10, offering visitors the opportunity to explore 12 craft distilleries located along the Paso Robles Distillery Trail.
Over the course of three days, each participating distillery will host events including behind-the-scenes interactive tours, hands-on mixology experiences, live music performances, local food pairings, and special spirit releases.
No ticket is required to participate in the weekend. Attendees can pick up a Trail map at any participating distillery or at the Paso Robles Visitor Center. Visitors who collect stamps from at least six distilleries will receive a free limited-edition Paso Robles Distillers shot glass. A Copper Card is available for $125, offering complimentary tastings at each distillery and access to additional events and discounts. The Copper Card is valid for one year and is available through Aug. 10.
The weekend begins with a Friday night kickoff event at Calwise Spirits on Aug. 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. Tickets for the event are $50 and can be purchased at pasoroblesdistillerytrail.com/events. Attendees will be the first to taste and purchase the inaugural Distillery Trail Blended Cask Strength Whiskey, a collaborative release led by Aaron Bergh of Calwise Spirits Co. The whiskey includes select contributions from distilleries on the Trail.
The kickoff event includes access to the whiskey release, a $50 discount on bottle purchases (regular price $130), light bites, meet-and-greet opportunities with the makers, and additional barrel-aged spirit tastings. Quantities of the whiskey are limited.
