Paso Robles Education Alliance hosting music festival fundraiser
Festival happening May 7 at Summerwood Winery in Paso Robles
– The Paso Robles Education Alliance is hosting a music festival fundraiser on May 7 at Summerwood Winery. The event has free admission and will have live music from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., food from the Patio Kitchen along with a live and silent auction.
The musicians are donating their time for the event and include Route 66 (classic rock), Emily Smith (contemporary), and the Veronica Street band (contemporary). Some of the live auction items include seven nights at a beautiful Shaver Lake vacation home, private cooking lessons for four from Chef Andre of Paso Terra, a smoker grill from Lowes, a magnum of 2013 Saxum James Berry Vineyard signed by Justin Smith (owner of Saxum) and many more amazing items.
PREA raises funds for teacher grants within the Paso school district and just this month gave out grants to seven teachers including three that replaced expensive pull-down world maps from 1990 (32-year-old world maps), highlighting the need for PREA and the help they offer the students, teachers and the community. Bring a low chair or a blanket and support PREA and the students & educational staff in Paso Robles for a day filled with music and fun on Saturday, May 7. The show is sponsored by Bank of the Sierras, Jeffrey’s Wine Country BBQ, and Coast Hills Credit Union.
