    Update: New Paso Robles election results released

    SLO County Elections Office open Saturday for voting assistance

    New results released Thursday

    – On Thursday, the San Luis Obispo County Clerk-Recorder’s Office released updated results for the Nov. 5, 2024, general election, with additional ballots counted for the Paso Robles City Council and Paso Robles Joint Unified School District Board of Trustees races.

    Paso Robles City Council 

    In District 1 (Partial Term), Kris Beal leads with 42.01% (807 votes), followed by Sharon Roden with 40.76% (783 votes) and Linda C. George with 17.23% (331 votes).

    In District 3, Steve Gregory is leading with 44.25% (1,047 votes), followed by Michael Rivera with 34.07% (806 votes) and Jeff Carr with 21.68% (513 votes).

    In District 4, incumbent Fred L. Strong ran unopposed and is poised to retain his seat with 100% (1,456 votes).

    Paso Robles Joint Unified School District Board of Trustees 

    In school board races, Nathan Williams is leading the Area 3 seat with 64.57% (1,079 votes), ahead of Hunter M. Breese with 35.43% (592 votes).

    Laurene D. McCoy is ahead in Area 5 with 55.92% (1,332 votes) over Tim Gearhart’s 44.08% (1,050 votes).

    Leo Castillo holds a narrow lead in Area 6 with 51.60% (759 votes) against Adelita Hiteshew’s 48.40% (712 votes).

    In Area 7, Kenney Enney leads with 58.43% (1,334 votes), ahead of Tracy Dauterman who received 41.57% (949 votes).

    The final results and certification of the election are scheduled for Dec. 3.

    As of Thursday, the elections office had tabulated another 4,800 ballots, bringing the running count of ballots accounted for up to 103,348. Over 48,000 ballots are reportedly still left to count.

    Final results and certification of the election are scheduled for Dec. 3

    – On Nov. 8, the San Luis Obispo County Clerk-Recorder’s Office released updated results for the Nov. 5, 2024, general election, with additional ballots counted for the Paso Robles City Council and Paso Robles School Board races.

    In the Paso Robles City Council District 1 race (partial term), Kris Beal currently leads with 785 votes, or 41.82%, followed closely by Sharon Roden with 772 votes, or 41.13%. Linda C. George has 320 votes, or 17.05%.

    City council incumbent Steve Gregory with his wife Dawn. Steve is leading in his district race.

    In District 3, Steve Gregory is leading with 1,009 votes, or 44.16%, ahead of Michael Rivera, who has 780 votes, or 34.14%. Jeff Carr is in third place with 496 votes or 21.71%.

    Fred L. Strong ran unopposed in District 4, with 1,409 votes, or 100%.

    Nathan Williams Trustee Area 3 PRJUSD

    School board incumbent Nathan Williams is leading in his race.

    For the Paso Robles School Board, in Trustee Area 3, Nathan Williams currently leads with 1,042 votes, or 64.56%, while Hunter M. Breese has 572 votes, or 35.44%.

    In Trustee Area 5, Laurene D. McCoy is leading with 1,296 votes, or 56.32%, while Tim Gearhart has 1,005 votes, or 43.68%.

    Retired Army Veteran Leo Castillo Announces Paso Robles School Board Bid

    School board candidate Leo Castillo is leading in his race.

    In Trustee Area 6, Leo Castillo is currently in the lead with 734 votes, or 51.65%, narrowly ahead of Adelita Hiteshew, who has 687 votes, or 48.35%.

    School board trustee announces bid for reelection

    School board incumbent Kenney Enney is leading in his race.

    In Trustee Area 7, Kenney Enney is leading with 1,290 votes, or 58.37%, while Tracy Dauterman has 920 votes, or 41.63%.

    So far 98,548 votes have been cast out of 182,606 registered voters.

    The final results and certification of the election are scheduled for Dec. 3.
